Suzuki is an adorable cow-colored cat with a big personality. She likes nothing more than hanging out with people. Where you go, she goes! She is willing to wait patiently or take a nap nearby if you are on a conference call or zoom meeting. She loves attention and hanging out. If you are watching TV, she would love to sit on your lap. If you open a door, she wants to go through it with you. She makes a great companion! Suzuki also loves her feline friends and would be happy to be adopted with Juneau or Pluto. They were surrendered together to the shelter when their humans divorced and could not keep them. Otherwise, she needs a compatible cat friend in the home. Suzuki will not be adopted as a single cat.

Suzuki and friends can be met at Crumbs & Whiskers, DC's first and only cat cafe. To book a visit, go to

The adoption fee for this cat is $185, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchipping. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered.

We are proud to partner with the following veterinarians who offer a free first exam for your animal, exclusively for HT adopters: Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Jermantown Animal Hospital, and Clarendon Animal Care and all VCA Animal Hospitals. Additionally, any VCA hospital will cover illnesses up to $250 at no cost to any Homeward Trails adopter. Just ask us how this works!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high risk shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting /foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Suzuki, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
